Daisy Yang is a Canadian/Taiwanese documentary photographer who started her career as an interior designer in Vancouver.
Due to her early background, she has a keen interest in cross cultural narratives, connecting the dots where different worlds collide. Upon completing the Photography and Human Rights program with Magnum Foundation and NYU in 2012, she splits her time between Canada and Nepal, partnering with local NGOs and pursuing long term personal projects that emphasize the impact of globalization on the environment and the local culture and identity.
